Happy Birthday Henry! (part II)
Jodie is so creative in finding fun things to do for our kids. My first instinct is that Henry is turning 2 and he doesn't even know what a birthday is. But one Sunday recently while she was clipping coupons (another activity Jodie has recently picked up that I endorse) and found a coupon to a restaurant called "All Aboard".
Henry will forever be cursed for being born so close to Christmas. I of coarse told Jodie that Henry already has enough toys and doesn't need anything. She had the great idea to take him to All Aboard for his birthday dinner. Henry Loved it! It was a great time. Henry watched the trains the entire time. There is a train that even brings you your food (BTW go for the trains, not the food) and it was one of the first times I have seen Henry speechless. He just put his hands to his mouth and was in awe. It was priceless.
We also were able to skype my parents and they could join in singing happy birthday to Henry and watch him try to blow out his candles. How cool is that? Enjoy the slide show.
Happy Birthday Henry!!!!
Two years ago I started the best job I have ever had, I became a mom to a wonderful, beautiful little baby boy. He has turned my world upside down and inside out. He brings me so much laughter and joy. It has been so much fun these last two years watching him learn and grow. He is a great son and even better older brother. We love you Henry. Happy Birthday.
Here is a picture of Henry's birthday cake that I made for him. He is in love with the movie "Cars" and loves "Lighting McQueen".

Crafty Henry
Henry has a tent on his crib so he can't get out. Well now he likes to get into little brothers crib. Jodie came into Hayden's room one afternoon and Henry had climbed into Hayden's crib and they were having a grand time together. We may now need a tent on little brothers crib.

Part 2 Holiday Update
Since we're playing catch up we thought we could show you some more recent adventures. We went to our wards Christmas party that was actually "A night in Bethlehem". One of the rules was that everyone had to wear a costume. Jodie is really creative and did a great job with our kids costumes. Everyone loved Hayden's sheep outfit and Henry was a Shepard. I had to play the part of Herod and give a quasi monologue. It turned out to be one of the most frightening experiences ever. Who knew a room full of primary kids and adults you don't know could make you that nervous.
For FHE Jodie had us decorate a gingerbread house. Henry was very helpful in placing the gumdrops and m&ms. He placed more than his fair share in his mouth too.
There are also some random pictures of the boys tooling around our place. Enjoy and happy holidays.
