Growing Up
Our boys are growing up so fast. I am always so impressed with how much they learn while I am at work. Jodie is so good at teaching Henry and Hayden new things. We have had so much fun playing with the boys before they go to bed lately with Hayden learning to walk and all the new words and songs Henry has been picking up.
A few fun things in particular. Henry has picked up "oh gosh" and says it about everything. He knows what a bus is and has developed "res eyes". He picks up buses from so far away it has Jodie and I laughing away in the car when it happens.
Little Brother is quite the catch. Soon as I walk in the door Henry is running to find me and Little Brother is scooting right behind him. If I keep walking past him to hang up my jacket and bag he sure hollers at me. Its fun to be loved.

Happy Birthday Henry! (part II)
Jodie is so creative in finding fun things to do for our kids. My first instinct is that Henry is turning 2 and he doesn't even know what a birthday is. But one Sunday recently while she was clipping coupons (another activity Jodie has recently picked up that I endorse) and found a coupon to a restaurant called "All Aboard".
Henry will forever be cursed for being born so close to Christmas. I of coarse told Jodie that Henry already has enough toys and doesn't need anything. She had the great idea to take him to All Aboard for his birthday dinner. Henry Loved it! It was a great time. Henry watched the trains the entire time. There is a train that even brings you your food (BTW go for the trains, not the food) and it was one of the first times I have seen Henry speechless. He just put his hands to his mouth and was in awe. It was priceless.
We also were able to skype my parents and they could join in singing happy birthday to Henry and watch him try to blow out his candles. How cool is that? Enjoy the slide show.
Happy Birthday Henry!!!!
Two years ago I started the best job I have ever had, I became a mom to a wonderful, beautiful little baby boy. He has turned my world upside down and inside out. He brings me so much laughter and joy. It has been so much fun these last two years watching him learn and grow. He is a great son and even better older brother. We love you Henry. Happy Birthday.
Here is a picture of Henry's birthday cake that I made for him. He is in love with the movie "Cars" and loves "Lighting McQueen".
