9 days. 2300 miles. beaches. BBQ. Bonfires. Volleyball. Bike rides. Wii. Go carts. Crab legs. Mini golf. Jet skis. tye dye. Smores. swimming. Sonic. Hot tub. chasing kids. flying kites. Hot dogs. Light houses. Shrimp. Fish tacos. pina colada. Water fights. Sand in cars. water fights. Rachels Enchiladas. Water balloon launching. no work. great weather. family pictures. good times. tipping the race track attendants. buffet. birthdays. shooting pool. maddies day care. pancakes. secret beach. Morrell Ribs.driving on beach. farmers market. Traffic. beach house. glad tidings. great weather. sand.Leftovers. shark and duck. twilight. brew thru. outlets. airports. Jareds famous spagehtti. TRI tip.

Cant wait for next time.

About Jared.....

I grew up in Boise Idaho in an amazing family. I loved my time there and have recently moved back with my own family. I enjoy all things outside, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, hunting, trips, travel and adventure. In my other free time I love college football and am passionate about Toyota Land Cruisers. I have owned 2 77 fj-40's, an 97 80 that hauled me all over Utah and Idaho back roads in grand style. Currently our soccer mom/grocery getter 100 series gets us around. . Henry: Mom, I'll just pee outside.

Henry: Ma, I want to drive a plane
Me: You want to drive a plane?
Henry: Yes, I want to drive a plane
Me: Maybe you can tomorrow
Henry: Alright

We brought Jared lunch at his office, here is the conversation me and Henry had as we were leaving:

Henry: Ma is this dad's store?
Me: No Henry, this is dad's office
Henry: Ummm. Is this is house?
Me: No Henry, this is daddy's office. This is where he works.
Henry: It's not his house?
Me: No
Henry: Ohhhh

Henry LOVES dogs, so I took the boys to a pet store today. He was walking around looking at all the puppies, when one of the little puppies started to whimper. Henry said to me, "ma he's sad". Before I could respond to him he was talking to the dog, "gog(dog) are you alright? Are you ok?" He says this as he is patting the dog through the glass window. He has such a big heart.

We stopped by Jared's office today to say "hi". We had been waiting for awhile when Henry decided to call his dad on his pretend cell phone. He put his hand (cell phone) up to his ear and said "Dad, where'd you go? I see your truck".

Jared and the boys were playing "cars" tonight and Jared wanted to show the boys some tricks with the cars, so he moved all the cars over by him. Henry started to get a little bit nervous because he thinks he needs to have a car in his hands at all times. So in a very nervous voice he said "umm share, share". I love this kid.

We have started trying to call little brother "Cash", and getting Henry adapted to it has not been easy. I was searching the house for "Cash" and kept calling out his name as I was looking for him. All the sudden Henry starts calling his name, but it sounds more like "trash". So he was yelling throughout the house "trash, trash," It was priceless.

February 17, 2009

I told Henry we need to go get dressed because we had to go to the doctor's so she could "fix" his cough.
Henry looked at me very concerned and said "I'm broke?!" I had to giggle a little and tell him yes indeed he was broke. He then said "Oh man" put his head down and walked slowly to his room.

February 28, 2009

It has been very dreary lately and I don't remember the last time we saw the sun, but the sun was shining on Saturday and this was the result....
We were walking outside to go for our daily drive to Sonic, as soon as Henry walked outside the sun hit his face. Henry started yelling "My eyes, my eyes, my eyes" as he was covering his face. I was laughing so hard. Then I was retelling the story to Jared and Henry started laughing and kept repeating "my eyes, my eyes". Love it!!!
